The challenge 

Before SourceWhale, Amsource’s consultants weren’t spending enough time nurturing relationships with candidates due to manual processes that were leading to inefficient ways of working, such as:

  • Keeping track of who to follow-up with and when
  • Adding and updating new contact in their CRM
  • Tracking activity like adding code to tech contacts


 The results

As the business was already using tools like Vincere, Pitchbook and LinkedIn, the Amsource team were on the lookout for a technology solution that would enhance, not replace, existing processes. Due to SourceWhale’s 100+ integrations, the platform is able to work alongside Amsource’s current tech stack and automate administrative tasks including data entry, coding and recording of activity, saving consultants one day a week to reinvest in calling and reaching out to more candidates.

Using automated multichannel sequences, Amsource is now able to follow-up with 100% of candidates using 3-5 steps and is enjoying increased response rates as a result. The business now makes 70% of its placements per month using SourceWhale and has been using the platform since June 2021.
